As is normal with the KRudd government spin cycle (They’ve got a new front loader with a 1400rpm cycle) a quiet but major change was made to the KRudd’s new health plan.

The National Funding Authority which was to oversee  state funding authorities and ultinately local hospital networks has been dropped. According to a spokesperson for health minister Nicola Roxon, the government would still have the national fund and adequate oversight of federal health money allocations.

Hello – think BER buildings (The school hall fiasco) overseen by the states that has seen at least 30% blatently scimmed off the top by said state governments. Here we go again.
